Lied-Duo with pianist Maria Yulin

Alessia Schumacher and Maria Yulin met whitin the young artist programme of the Yehudi Menuhin "Live Music Now" Foundation in Berlin. They have been collaborating since 2015, performing a number of recitals and charity concerts and constantly expanding their repertoire. As a duo, they worked with Karola Theill, Matthias Samuil and Jan Philip Schulze. Their repertoire reaches from "the classics", above all Franz Schubert, to contemporary works, with a particular focus on late romantic song repertoire by composers such as Richard Strauss, Sergej Rachmaninov, Claude Debussy and Arnold Schönberg.

Vibraphone & Voice

Hauke Renken and Alessia Schumacher met during a project at Konzerthaus Berlin in September 2018. They soon started performing together, exploring new repertoire and creating unique programmes with a mixture of styles ever since. Check out this unique combination!
